Brownies are still king… but
This slightly sweet and savoury side dish is perfect to serve along side many vegetable or meat stews.
Really simple it can be on the table in less than 5 minutes.
⅔ cup (170 mL) coucous
¼ tsp (1 mL) ground cinnamon
¼ tsp (1 mL) ground ginger
¼ cup (60 mL) golden raisins

Cook time: ,
Bring water or broth, cinnamon, ginger, and raisins to boil in medium saucepan on high heat.
Stir in couscous, cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.
Fluff couscous with fork.
