Dutch Baby Pancake

What's a Dutch Baby Pancake? Just about the best thing you have ever eaten for breakfast!
Julie shows you how to make this great breakfast treat, in about the same amount of time it takes to brew coffee.
To all of our German and Dutch friends... This is completely an American invention

Ingredients: 

1 cup (250 mL) all-purpose flour
¼ tsp (1 mL) salt
¼ tsp (1 mL) orange zest
2 Tbsp (30 mL) sugar
6 large eggs
1 cup(250 mL) milk
¼ tsp (1 mL) pure vanilla extract
3 Tbsp (45 mL) unsalted butter
Powdered sugar, for serving

Method: 

Pre-heat oven to 425°F (220ºC)
Place a large cast iron fry pan in the oven to preheat, at least 5 minutes.
Combine flour, salt, and orange zest in a large bowl and whisk; set aside.
Combine eggs, milk, and vanilla in a separate bowl and whisk well.
Make a well in the centre of the flour mixture, pour in the egg mixture, and mix.
Remove the skillet from the oven and add the butter.
Once the butter melts, pour the batter into the skillet and bake in the oven until puffed and golden brown on the sides, about 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and serve immediately with a sprinkling of powdered sugar
