Oat 'n' Toffee Grahams Squares
This squares recipe is a hit around the test kitchen! Chewy toffee and chocolate topping... so much to love.
1½ cups (375 mL) rolled oats
¾ cup (175 mL) granulated sugar
¾ cup (175 mL) packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons (45 mL) all-purpose flour
2/3 cup (150 mL) butter, melted
1 teaspoon (5 mL) pure vanilla extract
2 cups (500 mL) semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup (125 mL) chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350º F (180º C).
Arrange graham crackers in a single layer in a 15" x 10" baking pan that's been lined with foil. In a large bowl combine the oats, sugars, and flour.
Stir in melted butter, egg, and vanilla until combined.
Spoon mixture over graham crackers and spread to evenly cover graham crackers.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until oat mixture bubbles and is lightly browned on top.
Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate pieces over top.
Return to oven for about 1 minute to melt the chocolate.
Spread melted chocolate over top to cover, then sprinkle with pecans.
Cool in pan on a wire rack.
Cut or break into pieces.
