Brownies are still king… but
Just like grandma used to make!
2/3 cup (150 mL) sugar
1/3 cup (75 mL) white vinegar
1 tsp (5 mL) salt
1 cup (250 mL) 35% whipping cream
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Place sliced / shredded cabbage in a large bowl.
Mix sugar, vinegar, and salt in a small bowl.
Add to cabbage and toss to coat.
Add cream and toss it again.
Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.
Season with salt and pepper; serve.
